Today, here in Mexico they were celebrating El Dia de la Revolucion wich is a big deal for them. And this is the way that my son looked, I love this little things that make them so excited about being in school.

Movie/Pajama Party....

Well the other day I was looking throught the internet some fun thing to do with your kid, things that they always remember.... So I find out this really cool idea of doing a movie/pajama party is noth that the kids will say at you house but the idea of it. I told to my friends the idea and they were very excited about it so was I. As soon as they told me is ok count me in I told Gabe and he was the most happy kid on the block, I told him all of your friends are wearing very special and cool pj's and he said mom I want to wear my buzz light year ones and I said ok. The day finally arrived andhe was soooo excited that he beary took a nap, I order some pizza and made some popcorn. They "watched" the movie Ice Age 3 kind of but they had the best time ever. It dosen't matter how much trouble you have those faces and moments are priceless!!!!

November, Great news!!!

This month we had nice times and memories. We find out that we are expecting our 2nd child, which is a good thing to clelebrate. Also that daddy was coming back home after almost month and a half away from us. During this time we celebrate Gabe's birthday while daddy was back home and also celebrate Thanksgiving with our friend Junaky. We didn't did a lot of things but it was a nice time to be home with the family.

My friend Lexie and I decide to take the kiddos to watch a movie to the VIP. Is a really cool place and I thought that Gabe will have a really good time with his friends, the only problem was that the movie wasn't very good for kids. It was the Disney's new movie, A Christmas Carol....(Scrooge) you will think is a Disney movie so is ok to take the kiddos, but it was very scary. Costa, Lexie little boy got really scare and so Halle and Gabe when they hear him scream, so I went to the tiket place and told them that the movie wasn't for kids and if they can retun our money back. Thay were really nice and gave us some tickets to go back and watch any movie. After that we dicide to take the kid to the little park they have in front of the theather, the kids had and awesome time there, thanksfully they forgot for a little bit the scary movie. We finish our day eating some good food at Savora a really nice and cheap place here in Guadalajara. We are going to miss places like Savora and the VIP theather when we leave Mexico.

Halloween Bash!!!

As a group here in Guadalajara we dicide to make a halloween bash with all the american families, this is the second yr that we do it and is a lot of fun every family decorate their trunks with halloween theme and give candy away to all the kiddos. Is a safe way to celerate here in Mexico, that way we all know that our kids are getting safe candy and enjoying with their friends. Yesterday night my brother arrives with his fiancé to be with us during this weekend. I was very excited because is the first time that he has visit me so it was a new experience for us. We had everything set for them, as soon as they got to the house they told me one of the suitcase didn’t arrive and I said to myself oh ho this is not a good beginning. Anyways they were happy to be here and spend some time with us and be celebrating Gabriel’s birthday.

The next morning I woke up early to prepare everybody’s breakfast and take Gabe to school. After that I went to pick up Gabe’s birthday cake and take it to school to celebrate there. I was so excited even though daddy is not here he has his uncle to celebrate with him, is not the same without daddy. Gabriel was very happy when he saw all of us at school; he was in shock but happy to see us. Then he started telling everybody is my birthday and we are going to celebrate with cake and piñata, he was the happiest kid on the block. Everything went very nice in school he got presents from all of his friends at school, it was kind of amazing for me I really didn’t expect that, so thanks to all of those families.

After that we went back to the house and call the airport to check the status of the suitcase. They said there was a flight coming with it so after e pick up Gabe from school we took off to the airport to pick it up. My brother and I waited almost two hours for the suitcase, which was kind of annoying, finally they gave us the suitcase and everything was there nothing was lost so we were happy.

At night time we decide to go out to this place in downtown I really don’t remember the name but we had a really good time. It was the perfect ending to a family day.

Today was Gabe first field trip with the school, he was very excited just because I told him I was going with him. We arrive at the school and suddently he started crying, I said honey don't worry mommy is going to be with you so you don't need to be sad is going to be a fun day. He said ok mom. It was a nice play I thought they had some things the kids didn't understand but at the en the fulfill the porpose, which it was teaching the kids to take care of the earth.

It was time to pick up Gramma from the airport he was so excited, finally she arrived and he gave her big hugs and kisses and start telling her all the things he is being doing. Told her about school, friends, teachers well you name it. As soon as we got home he showed her his toys, room and said gramma now we need to play it was so funny and nice to see him like that. Then we decide to take gramma out for dinner to Savora a cute and yummy restaurant very close to our house. There we saw our friends Lexie and Erik with the kids, so nice to have some friends to meet my mom that way she knows that here we are sorrounded by good people. Gabe was very happy because his friend Costa was there, we had and awesome salad adn my mom was very happy.

Finally we got home and saw daddy throught the camara and talk to for a little bit and then we play with gramma. The time fly by when you are having fun in a blink of an eye it was time to take a shower and go night night. Well now everybody is time to settle down and rest so see you all later......

Very positive and productive day

This was a very nice and long weekend Gabe went back to school, I just got back to the house to takle the leanig I had ahead after being the whole weekend at the house. The cleaning lady came and helpme, I cleaned the windows, kitchen and she did the rest. When it was 1:30 I went to school to pick up Gabe and he told me he got a bubu in school, not a big thing but for him is the more painful scratch ever, you guys know kids. We ate lunch and he went to take his nap a little rest for me.

After his nap we sit and play for a little bit we did his assigment from school and paint. Then we play baseball in the front yard, if we can call it that, we had a lot of fun he said mom I'm hitting the ball in the "queso" something he learned from his daddy. He is really good actually I wish the have like a t-ball team or something here becausre that will be something he will love and we will have so much fun. Before bed time Gabe said mom come with me and relax here in the couch, so here we are relaxing and watching transformers cartoons and I ask him do you like transformers and he said I like them but not that much. It was so funny and honest that I just hugged him.

Today we woke up and had breakfast we watch some tv and then we took off. We went ot the new mall Andares and play for a little bit in the rainforest playarea they have. You can find boats, trains and little bowling alley for kids. Gabe had a blast eventhough we didn't stay for a long time. After that we had lunch at Chilis and he actually ate all his food and behave so well I was amazed, like I said yesterday he is becoming this wonderful little boy that I love to be with oh my God he is the best. We play a little bit more in another park they have at the same mall. So far we are having a very nice weekend now is time for nap then some more playing.

Long Weekend and Nothing to do!!!

Is Friday afternoon and Gabe is taking his usual nap after school, I just watched last night episode of Grey's Anatomy, very nice one. I'm kind of annoyed because my hubby is not home, all our friends are going out of town and we don't have anything to do so will see if I can come up with some good and interesting activity to do during the weekend. The good thing is that Gabe got a hair cut today and he was very brave he didn't cry I was so proud of him. He is becoming a big boy, I just can belive it my boy is going to be 3, how quick the time goes. After the hair cut we watch the movie Lion King as his request it was nice to have some down time with him today was a very good day thanks God for all your blessings!!!!
